Agreed. Must get round to brushing the dust off the top end of the fretboard some time . . . . .

The Tele type guitar can do pretty much anything that you might need- the most versatile and durable guitar- equal first with the Strat type of course, IMHO..based on experience after 50 years of gigging, recording etc...

Sorry John, I have no photo at present, but you can see one on the sites of many of the online stores, & some on Youtube demos. Installed my brass saddles today, & will gig it tonight.

Here's my latest purchase
1996 50th anv made in Japan 51 re issue precision Bass
Butterscotch Blonde
currently strung with Thomastik flats .
sounds really 50's with a woody tone.
ideal for the old rock n roll style.

I might as well join in...

This one is going in the next week or two (effectively unused since I won it in a raffle in 2012):

And this one is probably coming my way this weekend:

Hi Jay,
Great looking '50s style P. Bass. I have a Squier Classic Vibe '50s P. Bass exactly like that one, in the same finish. If yours is anything like mine, you will have a really great sounding bass. I was astounded at the wonderful tone variation on mine, from that simple single-coil pickup.

Hi Jim,
That's a nice looking Les Paul. Shame to sell it, really, but I know what you mean about getting rid of guitars you don't play anymore.

Tony.

Every time I sell a guitar I regret it!
