Bojan,

It was me who alerted Trevor Midgley to this guitar. I saw one up for sale on e-bay and I think suggested he check it with Barry. Trevor values any updating information on Burns guitars - he is an enthusiast - and I have passed information to him on several occasions.

Regards, Nick.

But the Burns Jet Harris limited edition model is not from 2009, as indicated on Treovor Midgley's site...

Obviously Trevor did not check with Barry about this guitar before repeating the claim on e-bay about the date.

My friend who bought it had not planned to buy it, but postponed other puchase projects to buy it after he saw the offer...

Here are some of his Burns guitars :

The true story Marvin Legend CS Ex Jet Bass Six project
This model stamped "Unique Edition" was originally called Jet Six Bass Guitar.Il served as project for the realization of a low baritone for Jet Harris. Insufficient length of vibrating strings agreement E to E the lower octaves obviously allowed no acceptable accuracy. The "Jet Six Bass Guitar" project was abandoned for a few months, the Barracuda, Baritone true to the vibrating length adapted. The instrument been retouched (new nut, strings and settings) to find his "guitar" function. Two other slightly different models Sparkle Silver color were made including that of Jet and mine equipped with microphones to silkscreen covers Jet Harris (presumably the microphones that were to be mounted on the final Barracuda
I bought mine at Musicground it came with 2 flat back, a white stamped Protype Jet Harris and The Legend black stamped serial No. 0640

Hi, there are clips on u tube showing Jet playing this guitar, it looks and sounds great.

There is also a Burns Ultrasonic on ebay at the moment. Apparently only one was ever made. It looks really good, I wonder why they didn't make more of them.
