Hi all I have just received a zoom G3 reading you're posts has inspired me to go for this unit. I previously had the g2 with eftp patches which was very very good. However I now am looking for some patch settings I will put halls patches on eventually, when I have a spare £80, I have put the settings in off you're posts to try it out, I hope you don't mind I was just wondering it doesn't have an amp model in is this ok, do you have any other settings I could use, many thanks to you all for you're info I play at home and am no pro I have about 4 shadows tunes down that is from start to finish again many thanks for all you're help,
Thank you from a very a amature Mick L Hunt, the name is no joke I'm afraid it's the one my parents inflicted on me

Just thought I ought to add to this as it's my fault that you were having difficulties in a round about way.
One of the reasons i stopped giving my patches away was because i can't provide 'back up' in these instances, I'm capable of making patches but I'm not brilliant when it comes to understanding how the Zoom G3x works, I did it by trial and error, eventually getting there. This is why I recommend contacting Ross Hall as he does provide help and his patches are excellent.
More recently I have been working with the excellent Zoom MS-70CDR & Zoom MS-100BT, each of which have to be programmed manually as there is no EDIT & SHARE function available yet. If you are cool with making patches and have a little understanding of what your fiddling with then it's an easy task, but not for everyone, which is why the EDIT & SHARE is such a good option, as the echoes are superb. :)

I am planning to be at Doncaster tomorrow depending on how I'm feeling, it's up and down at the moment, but I'll do my best to be there. I could drop the Apache & Wonderful Land settings on for you, time permitting. :)

Michael, Ross Hall's programmes for the G3/ G3X. First class mate. Well worth having and simplicity itself
to install.

Cheers, Alan.

If I use compression or EQ, that is number one, the echoes follow in order of head spacing. :)
