I have four Strats with floating trems and a Strat Plus fitted from new with the Hipshot system. They all work perfectly wel,l and if there is a difference with the Hipshot, it is very marginal.

I thought the shadows had problems with their early strats and Jim Burns had sorted them with the Marvin. I may be wrong but thought this had been discussed before. Personally not had any problems myself. Super bridges locking tuners and nuts replacement term arms . Wonder some people buy a strat to start with. Why not do what some do and build your own if these changes are needed or buy a guitar that has them fitted as standard
