Tremking

Hey guys

Any of you going to have a tremking fixed bridge trem fitted? It looks and sounds great but, not sure if I would risk a premium Strat at first. Maybe one of my Squiers, just to see if it works as well as the demos seem to suggest.

Ok guys, I guess no response means none of you will be trying the kingtrem system? I am going to see who, in the local area can maybe fit one.

Having said that I'll answer your question. For my part, I'm perfectly satisfied with the tremolo on my CS Strat.
as it is.

I did take the time to have the guitar set up by a Luthier following problems with tuning and a sticking G string.

This was solved by the fitting of a new bone nut. ( Made from a piece of, funnily enough, bone ).

I did exactly the same exercise with my 50th Anniversary with the same positive result.

A good set up by a good luthier is worth every penny in my opinion. It can make a good guitar great
and a great guitar superb.

OUCH a little harsh there Alan. I do not sit in front of my computer all day. I am a full time, live in carer. I am new to this site and, am unaware of the protocol. Being obliged to be here 24/7 means communication via computer is my only means of contact with fellow musicians. If I have offended anyone, it was intended.

Slip? Slip? what slip was that? Seriously, I would like the luxury of being back in work and, having holidays etc(even though I was a Civil Servant for 28yrs, Bet that wont win me any friends either). I obviously get some time to myself but, I can no longer go out and socialise and attend gigs etc. Being part of this site and shadows arena is a Godsend for communicating with other guitar players.

Alan spotted my slip/typo. No, I am definitely NOT the sort of person to offend/upset anyone. On a more positive side, I managed to get the correct power supply for your echo unit. I've not tried all the setting but, at the moment, it looks VERY promising. Are the setting for individual tunes available or, is it a matter of fiddling until I get what I feel is right?
I don't have the luxury of having a room where I can use an amp so, all my testing is through headphones. I use either a Vamp 3 or go straight into the Tascam DP01 fx.
Maybe one day, I will have a small studio,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, one day.
