Organ effect pedal?

Postby Nivram4078 » 18 Jul 2015, 09:57

is it me or when playing the start of the second higher notes section of Don't Cry For Me Argentina does Hank briefly use an Organ effects Pedal to produce those longer notes? I'm certain it's not just vibrato using the Tremelo. Being only a bedroom player, I was hoping anyone more proficient than me could advise. I've searched everywhere for the answer.

As far as known , Hank only used a Morley Volume Pedal on either studio or live versions of this number?

There is an organ pedal on the market from Electro Harmonix called the B9. It seems to have had some good reviews:

I guess the guitarist in the band could now play the intro to A Whiter Shade of Pale!

But the guys are right about Hank using the Morley volume pedal. Incidentally, I had a dream the other night where Hank and I were chatting about Albert Lee!

Many thanks for your very useful replies. E Bay has a choice of the Morley Pedals which I will go for. Bob

Hank used a Morley VBO pedal the first series large silver one, at that time and was happy for a few years with that.

Incredible effects but you need to be a very proficient guitarist to get the best out of it. That rules me out!
