Charlie Hall's demo at Warwick

It was good to welcome Charlie Hall and Pete Alden back to Warwick club today. Charlie demonstrated the new Hall & Collins echo unit, playing a substantial set of early Shadows numbers - about a dozen - showing the various Hank sounds for which those tracks are known. It was uncannily good. From my non-technical understanding of what Charlie told me, if you can play like Hank did, this kit will behave the same way his gear did at the time and make sure you also sound just right. Very much the professional model. Many thanks to Charlie for taking copious questions from all and letting club members play through it.
Ian McCutcheon will be bringing the H&C unit to Scarborough's gala next weekend and Newcastle the weekend after.
