OK - several points...

First, Chas: did you get that file sent by email?

Secondly, those Pawnshop Bass VIs are a bit of a disappointment to me. I could live with everything on them except for the fact that the Jazzmaster-form-factor humbucker in the bridge position is slightly too narrow for the splay of the Bass VI's strings. I have seen three examples. On two of them, the high E string misses the relevant polepiece.

Thirdly (and whisper it), Fender are now strongly rumoured to be about to release more of the MIJ range for sale in the USA and Europe. This includes the Bass VI Reissue like the one in my avatar picture (I got mine in 1996). Not cheap, at about £1300, but more accurate than the Pawn Shop version.

More news if and when I get it.
