Tune-O-Matic bridge saddles

A few years ago I purchased a used 1963 Epiphone Casino, which still had the remnants of the (presumably) original nylon saddles on the Tune-o-matic bridge.

After fitting commonly available metal replacements, the sound, of course, was altered significantly, and since that time I have often wondered if it might be possible to obtain new nylon saddles, but recent attempts have proved fruitless.

Would anyone have any ideas at all?

A search for "nylon bridge saddles" on eBay produced 12 items - although most of these expect you to buy the bridge itself as well.
