The eighth (8th) item on this page http://www.axesrus.com/axehardware.htm can be ordered in gold at £26.50. It has a steel block and it also takes the existing push-in arm with black tip.

You'd have to have a piece of hardwood shaped to block off the front top part of the cavity, then drilled to take the six mounting screws. It works well.
