I've just stumbled on this compilation on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oH3eveQ7Kv4&t=169s and the opening number is a version of Shazam that I don't remember ever hearing before (mind you, the memory's not what it was!).

It sounds like an outtake of the 1964 single. Can anyone shed any light?

I listened to the whole thing. Unless my old ears have gone really downhill lately, none of it sounds anything like the Shadows, just a bunch of third-rate covers.
