I wonder if someone can advise.
Sorting out my old bits and pieces led to a discovery that I had a complete set of Hoffers' Shadsfax mags except for Issue 54.
But I wonder if the Final Tour Issue (which I do have) was in effect No 54 ? It doesn't seem to be numbered.
Anybody?
Thanks in anticipation of the usual expertise.
Mike

I think number 58 was a Final Tour Special... but could be wrong. I have a drawer full of them here, but sadly not every issue, and it's worth noting that Hoffers is currently producing digital versions of each issue, slightly updated, I thought it was fitting that it finished on issue 58 - the year they were formed - although it was also a bit of a shame that it didn't last until issue 60. I guess there's still time...

Great info - thank you.
Hope I've got 54 somewhere - should have - so I will do a deep search.

I don't have issue 54, but I do have the next one (55), which covers the Cliff Richard & The Shadows' final reunion tour from 2009/2010, not The Shadows' own final tour of 2004/2005. Issue 58 also covers the 2009/2010 tour.

I have issue 54 and I've just dug it out. It's a 'normal' issue with a B&W image of Cliff, Hank, Bruce and Brian plus the Shads silhouette logo on the cover. Articles include album reviews, a review of the BBC documentary 'The Story Of The Guitar' and a retrospective of The Shads Pantomime Scores.
HTH.
