My don't time fly

Postby shadowriter » 29 May 2021, 10:20

17 years today, the final tour hit Blackpool. One amazing night that
all those years later it still seems like yesterday. Get out my ticket (somewhat faded now)
put up the poster, stick in the bluray, sit back, drink a toast to the boys and enjoy it all over again.
Happy, happy, moments.

My wife & I went to York for the weekend in order to see the band at the York Barbican on the Final Tour. Walked into the city centre from our B&B on the Saturday morning (the concert was that evening), and on the walk back, came across Bruce Welch & Cliff Hall standing outside their hotel getting some fresh air :D . Stopped for a chat, and found them both to be very friendly :P .

A terrific weekend, can't believe it was so long ago.

Yes totally agree. Hard to believe it was 17 years ago. What a wonderful tour it was. Just perfect
