The Shadows in Radio Times

The latest edition of Radio Times (April 25th - May 1st) has a half-page colour photo of The Shadows' Burns line-up and a couple of paragraphs about the BBC4 programme The Shadows At 60 which it identifies as the "Pick Of The Day" for Friday May 1st.

Great news. Funnily enough, I only mentioned a couple of hours ago in an email to someone that I was going to pick up the Radio Times tomorrow - on my way back from an essential journey to the chemist. Didn't think it was out yet.

Not bought the too expensive for me Radio Times for Donkey's years.
Will make an exception this week though.
Thanks for the heads up.

Just got back from the chemists and the co-op.

Yes, some good coverage of/for the Shadows @60 programme on BBC 4. A half page photo (John Rostill line-up) on page 102, plus small pic (again, J.R. line-up) at the top of page 105 and a lengthy description in the programme synopses below. And yes, it's 'Pick of the Day' ! All looking good so far! I can't wait!
