Of course this was 35 years ago, so I could be wrong. My memory is usually pretty reliable and as a huge Doctor Who fan (but NOT the current one!) this stuck in my mind. I was under the impression that Alan was in the 'Time' band at this point... no idea why.

The accident occured on the 13th of April, 1988. I got this date from the mini biography of Alan in the liner notes of the 1997 UK See For Miles CD "Rock Dreams/Voyage".

Maybe my records were wrong. When I opened the "Time" double LP and the booklets it contained, these tickets fell into my hands. My wife and son had previously attended a show with Cliff singing. I saw "Time" in 1987 with Dave Cassidy.

I enjoyed Steppin as it was the first 'new' Shadows album i bought (i had recently got into them). Shoba remains one of my all time favourites as does Farewell my lovely. I personally think it's a little better than Reflection.
