Yes, I saw Time in London, but I'm sure that was 1987. Alan came back into the band after this and so the unavailability issue had been resolved.

I saw "Time" at the Dominion Theatre, London, on October 31, 1986.

My recollection is that we (the family) went down to London to see 'Time' on or about the same day that Patrick Troughton died. So this would make it on or about 28 March 1987. Of course this was 35 years ago, so I could be wrong. My memory is usually pretty reliable and as a huge Doctor Who fan (but NOT the current one!) this stuck in my mind. I was under the impression that Alan was in the 'Time' band at this point... no idea why.

The accident occured on the 13th of April, 1988. I got this date from the mini biography of Alan in the liner notes of the 1997 UK See For Miles CD "Rock Dreams/Voyage".

Maybe my records were wrong. When I opened the "Time" double LP and the booklets it contained, these tickets fell into my hands. My wife and son had previously attended a show with Cliff singing. I saw "Time" in 1987 with Dave Cassidy.

I enjoyed Steppin as it was the first 'new' Shadows album i bought (i had recently got into them). Shoba remains one of my all time favourites as does Farewell my lovely. I personally think it's a little better than Reflection.
