A bit desperate... but the puppets of Hank, Bruce and John (in the film Thunderbirds Are GO!) were playing little duplicates of the Burns guitars... built, I would guess, by the ladies and gentlemen at Century 21 Productions............

A good shout, but no, We're talking real live Shadows , not puppets . I will say though, you're going in (very) broadly the right direction with that answer and it's probably just as desperate .

I'll give my answer later today.

And we have a winner!! Honestly thought it would have taken longer - when I stumbled on the clip on Youtube I honestly thought no-one would ever get it. Really should have known better

I believe they're Vox guitars, but could be wrong, and note: I did say "used" rather than "played"
